The album cover here could have been any frame of any videotape. But that’s what Desert Sand Feels Warm at Night is- a tribute to memories, perhaps ordinary at the time. Perhaps so ordinary that they were more of habits or motifs than anything. The sorts of things that shape you, and that you forget. Now only the shadow of these things remain, which Desert Sand does justice to, by making it the center of our consciousness, if only for an hour or two. Tancevat

The defining part of- and the most dealbreaking parts of slushwave is its vocals. Usually, slowed down vocals are more uncanny to me than anything, but Desert Sands, and this album in particular turn what is usually a turnoff into one of the most spectacular musical pieces ever.
This whole album feels like you’ve been transported into a place transcending all known nations or environments, language or culture. This album leads you to explore your mind, and all the memories you’ve forgotten. Tancevat
